Toray Advanced Materials Korea (TAK) was awarded the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) AA Certification at the 2nd AEO Certificate Award Ceremony hosted by the Daegu Customs Office on April 9.

The AEO program, administered by the Korea Customs Service, evaluates and certifies companies with outstanding capabilities in trade compliance, internal control systems, and financial soundness. Certification is granted every five years to companies that meet these comprehensive standards.

Since first obtaining the AEO A Certification in 2011, TAK has continued to enhance its trade compliance capabilities, achieving an upgrade to AA Certification in 2014. The company has successfully maintained this highest-level certification to date, demonstrating its global standards in export and import safety management.

This consecutive AEO AA Certification not only enhances TAK’s external credibility but also provides practical benefits, including simplified customs procedures, reduced inspection rates, and preferential treatment through mutual recognition agreements with foreign customs authorities.

Moving forward, TAK expects this achievement to significantly contribute to reducing logistics costs, improving operational efficiency, and further strengthening its global trade competitiveness.
